Tennis fans planning Rome tours later this year will be able to enjoy some world-class entertainment when the ATP World Tour comes to the Italian capital.
The Internazionali BNL d’Italia contest will get underway at Rome’s Foro Italico venue on April 27th this year.
Serbian stars Novak Djokovic and Jelena Jankovic were the victorious players in their respective sides of the tournament in 2008 and both are likely to be back to defend their titles this year.
The competition will see the world’s top players straining every sinew to make it to the final and challenge for the top prize of €2.75 million (£2.47 million).
After visiting Rome, the ATP Tour will head to Munich for a tournament starting on May 3rd, followed by an event in Madrid on May 10th and the French Open in Paris on May 25th.
