Hollywood Theme

0

Have you ever wondered what the homes of your favourite celebs look like? They are impressive to see from the ground, but when you are observing them from the sky, you get a better view of their whole extravagant property.

Our Celebrity Homes Helicopter Tour provides an exciting new look into the lives of the rich and famous! Two options are offered for this tour: Hollywood homes tour and Hollywood homes tour with Hollywood-style your tour.

The Hollywood homes tour begins flying high over Bel Aire and Beverly Hills after you board your helicopter. Bel Aire and Beverly Hills are the hotspots for celebrity homes that you will not want to miss. You will be glued to the window of your helicopter as you soar above the luxurious properties, while your knowledgeable pilot tells you all about who lives where!

Celebrity homes are not the only thing you will see during your tour from above. It would be hard to travel to Los Angeles and not see the famous Hollywood sign. The sign spelled out with 50 foot high letters will not look so big from the helicopter! Catering to the sports fanatics, Dodger Stadium, home of the legendary Dodgers baseball team, is another famous spot seen on the tour. Griffith Park Observatory, a popular space and science museum is an icon of Los Angeles and a leader in public astronomy that could be seen from above. Scope out your next shopping location at The Beverly Center. It doesn’t stop there, as you will also see CBS Television City, Hollywood Bowl, The Staples Centre, and the LA Coliseum among others.

The Hollywood homes tour with Hollywood-style your tour is another version of the helicopter tour that provides the same features as the tour mentioned above, except you will receive a bottle of champagne, hors d’oeuvres, and souvenirs to add the VIP touch.

No matter which tour you take, you will have the opportunity to get the low-down on all the celebrities while discovering their fabulous estates.

Another bonus to this package is a personalised DVD filled with a collaboration of photos taken by your guide throughout the day. This is a wonderful complement to the photos taken by you on your journey, as well.

2. What’s the fun in trying to squeeze through a large crowd to snag a picture? That’s never fun! That’s why this tour is a small group tour, with a maximum crowd of six people. With this feature, customisation to your requirements is easier, allowing more time for you to stop and immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery laid out as far as the eye can see.

4. So, you think that mountains and bodies of water are all you will see on this tour? Wrong! You will be able to check out some famous landmarks along the way. Along the West shore, sneak a peek at one of the mansions used in the filming of The Godfather. Pass by property once owned by Frank Sinatra, complete with secret tunnels used by Marilyn Monroe, The Rat Pack and JFK to escape the public eye. Ponderosa ranch, where Bonanza was filmed is another site visited on this tour.

Venice at Sunset, Private Photography Tour

0

The best part of going on holiday is taking pictures to make the memories last.  You’ve heard of photography tours, but how does a private sunset photo shoot of Venice sound?  (Cue the rush to pick up cameras).

Venice is already an absolutely magnificent city to photograph, with beautiful rivers and bridges around every corner.  But when the sun begins to set, this tour will take you to some of the most photogenic spots Venice has to offer.  Accompanied by a bilingual photographer-guide, your tour will begin at Vaporetto line 1. From that point, you will use your viewfinder to see Venice through a Venetian’s eyes, capturing some of the following locations at the same time.

In the heart of Venice lies St. Mark’s Square, lined by arcades with St. Mark’s church on the eastern end.  One of the most photographed spots in not only Italy, but the world, this square is filled with people, music and other festivities.

The Doge’s Palace is the home of frescoes depicting the history of the Republic by Masters such as Tiepolo, Tiziano, Veronese, Bassano and Palma il Giovane.  Kept in golden wooden frames, these frescoes are placed inside this beautiful Gothic building, located on the eastern end of St. Mark’s Square.

Even though you will see a lot of water while on this tour, you will not want to miss the Venice Lagoon. This crescent-shaped body of water lies between the Italian mainland and the Adriatic Sea.

One of two bridges you will get to photograph is Ponte della Paglia, the stone bridge next to the Doge’s Palace, connecting St. Mark’s and Castello districts. From this point of view, capture the best photographs of the famous Bridge of Sighs, located right behind it.

The next and most famous bridge on the tour is The Bridge of Sighs. This small stone bridge connects the Doge’s Palace with prison cells.  As you click away, learn about how the bridge received its name: from the sighs of prisoners as they were led to the prison cells.

Don’t worry if you feel you are lacking in knowledge of basic photography skills; your guide will teach you the basics of composition, the importance of lighting and techniques of creating a balanced and attractive image.

Impress your friends with marvellous photos taken by you in Venice, all while capturing the city from a different perspective.

Scenic Bike Safari of Fuerteventura

1

Biking in FuerteventuraDoes the thrill of biking get your adrenaline pumping? Are you looking for a new trail to explore? Do you love surrounding yourself with unique scenery? If you said “yes” to either of those questions, then a scenic bike safari through Fuerteventura is the perfect fit!

“Fuerte-what?” you might ask. Fuerteventura is one of the Canary Islands, owned by Spain. A major feature of this island is the attractiveness of its landscape, with lots of stone and impressive beaches.

For this particular tour, there are three different levels of difficulty available: easy, south tour, also known as the medium level, and the Fuerte-Pur tour, known as the advanced level. It’s good to have choices, right?

The easy tour will cover a distance of 28 kilometres. Beginning your journey, you will be picked up in a minibus from Fuerteventura Playa and will be driven to Betancuria. After getting your bikes, you will ride through the valley of 1000 palm trees, eventually coming to the lake ‘Vega de Rio Palma’. As you continue, you will stop for a picnic on the beach in Ajuy, a little fishing village. Continue to the caves of Ajuy before you head back by bike to the west-coast.

Covering 35 kilometres, the South tour will take you biking down uneven paths. Jandia is the starting point of this mountain biking journey, while Punta de Jandia marks the end. In between those two points, you will enjoy wondrous views of beaches and the historical Villa Winter.

Now, for all of you hard-core bikers out there, the advanced level will take you on a 50 to 80 kilometre ride filled with mountain-biking and uneven paths uphill, downhill and along beaches. Like the South tour, the advanced tour begins in Jandia. As you leave Jandia, you will bike past La Pared and stop for a picnic on the beach.  How wonderful is that?!  After the break, continue on to the west coast, biking through small villages on your way!

So, if you’re an adventure seeker looking for an out of the ordinary tour, then look no further than our scenic bike safari of Fuerteventura!

Pisa Segway Sightseeing Tour

0

Ah, Pisa, the land with the famous leaning tower. However, that is not the only thing you will find there! Pisa is a mecca for ancient architecture and breath-taking scenery. Don’t risk getting tired from walking and missing the sites by taking a leisurely ride through Pisa on a Segway! Like I said, there is so much more to see outside the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Here are five other things you will discover on your Segway tour of Pisa

1. Pisa Cathedral (Duomo): Gaze upon the intricate Romanesque architecture that makes up this beautiful, medieval cathedral. Dedicated to Saint Maria Assunta, the Pisa Cathedral has been a wonderful component to Pisa since 1093.

2. Across the Arno: Ride across the Arno River on your Segway and enjoy the scenery of old buildings in contrast to the vast backdrop of the Tuscan hills.

3. The Baptistry: Visit the largest Baptistry in Italy. Located near the Cathedral, the Baptistry exemplifies the architectural transition from Romanesque to Gothic style.

4. Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles): This wide walled area contains the Duomo, The Leaning Tower and the Baptistry. It is recognised as one of the main centres for medieval art in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5. Santa Maria della Spina: Originally known as “Santa Maria de Pontenovo”, this church was renamed in 1333, after a thorn of Christ’s crown was placed inside. The word ‘Spina’, meaning thorn, brings significance to its name.  This church is just another example of the beautiful Italian Gothic art you will see on your tour.

A walking tour of Pisa is fun, but a Segway tour of Pisa is even better!  You will get to see all of the sites mentioned, and even more!

Your journey through Tao Dan Park will begin after meeting in front of Ben Thanh market with your guide.  Ride past the War Remnants Museum as well as the Reunification Palace.  Take a break from your cyclo tour by walking by the Notre Dame Cathedral and the General Post Office. After your walking tour, board your cyclo again to see even more sites, like the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House, Continental Hotel and the Ben Thanh Market. This tour will give you a glimpse of what it is like to live in this Vietnamese city.
