So, I’m proud to say I am committed and sticking to the regime so far. The fast-track lunch box is a now a fixture on my desk and carried with me into all meetings (particularly remarked upon during 2 full days of very important isango! investor meetings we recently held…much to our investors’ bemusement!). Most importantly, it’s working! 7 kilos so far (although I also got a rather drastic hair cut in the last fortnight at the behest of my wife). People are starting to notice, my clothes definitely feel looser and I’m even back in a jacket or two that have been gathering dust over the last year for their failure to button up comfortably. I find the healthy snacking surprisingly easy throughout the day and it has definitely had an impact on my hunger levels and the speed with which I eat my main meals. Fair to say, a great success so far! continue reading
Crowd goes wild…!
isango!’s very own CEO, Ranjan Singh has been enlisted to star in a BBC World News reality TV Show, ‘Fit to Fly’!!! The premise is to follow busy, successful professionals and look at their lifestyles and eating habits, with a view to advising them on how to live healthier lives (and lose weight!). Ranjan and a fellow travel business-owner have been selected as the guinea pigs. There’s a big target ahead of him – which will not only be available to view on BBC World News and by internet download but by staying tuned to isango!’s very own blog, where Ranjan will be uploading his frustrations, achievements and general musings about his experience.
The filming has commenced and the first show gone out. But don’t despair! Just in case you don’t have access to BBC World, there’s a taster and links below where you can view all the footage throughout the series and you can even join the Facebook group.
Check back soon for updated links and comments and thoughts from the man himself.

And here, the first episode that aired last week around the world (including footage of Ranjan enjoying one of our very own tours – the Paris Segway Tour experience):

Wishing all a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays to our friends on the other side of the Atlantic…from all of us @ isango!

Many of our users browsing for travel experiences in the last few weeks would have noticed a new feature on our product pages, visit our The Golden Circle Sightseeing Tour in Reykjavik to see it in action. Using an algorithm involving the viewing and buying patterns of other users, we are able to introduce other tour experiences that we think might be of interest to the user based on what they are viewing. Users can easily navigate directly to find out more details of that travel experience by clicking the options under the “We also recommend” section on the right.

isango! is proud to share our first company video with the isango! family!
This was a ‘first’ for us and a learning experience to say the least (in how to brief and shape such a different creative process to website design), but we’re pretty pleased with how it’s turned out and hope you enjoy it (and don’t forget to turn the sound on!). We hope you find that it’s not only colourful and inspirational but that it succinctly gets across the message that it’s what you DO on holiday that leaves the lasting memory, not the logistics of how you get there or where you might stay.

To celebrate this momentous event, we’d like to invite you to enter a quick and fun competition… continue reading

The annual Dakar Rally sees drivers from across the world test themselves against the terrain and conditions in the world’’s most demanding race from January 3rd to 18th.
This year’’s event will make history as it’’s to be staged in South America for the first time: the circuit will run from Valparaiso in Chile via Buenos Aires in Argentina and back, touching on both the western and eastern coasts of the continent in the process.
The circuit will see drivers tear across mountains, through rainforests and everything in between – with only a fraction of the field expected to complete the contest.
Participants will have to deal with extremes of temperature found in very few parts of the world, in a range of vehicles from buggies to huge, professionally-equipped off-road 4×4s.
But the newest challenge facing this year’’s competitors will be altitude – nearly 1,000km of the 9,000km route will be run at over 1,500m above sea level.
Not for the faint-hearted the Dakar Rally is one of the world’’s true most challenging endurance events.
Active and Adventure – Air Activities – Enjoy an exhilarating helicopter ride over New York or a serene hot air balloon ride over the Australian outback.

BOO!

I must say - our readers certainly seem to be in the Halloween spirit. I wasn’t sure if Halloween was a popular holiday here in London, but I now know that it is!
May you dress in crazy costumes and eat too much candy……
Happy Halloween from all of us here at…
